Take HWY 64 West to the light in Cashiers (at the "Crossroads") and turn right on to HWY 107.

Go North on HWY 107 about 6 miles to Pine Creek Road and Mountain View Marine, a large boat storage facility several acres in size surrounded by a chainlink fence...

Turn left at Mountain View Marine on to Pine Creek Road.  On Pine Creek Road go about 3.3 miles to the first paved county road on right,  Cullowhee Mt. Rd.  

At Cullowhee Mt. Rd. turn right and go 1 mile to Arrowmont Entrance on right.

Turn right into the entrance on to Arrowmont Trail. The front gate may be closed but it is to keep horses in, not people out.

There is a sign at the entrance and a directional sign at the intersection of Pine Creek Rd. and Cullowhee Mt Rd.  Plan about 20-30 minutes from Cashiers.
